Vancouver new apartment building

Took this a few days ago on the way back from my haircut. One of the unique (for want of a better word) modern apartment building off Robson Street.

Vancouver has some rules about viewing corridors to make sure new buildings don't block existing views of the mountains so that might be why the apartment had to be curved like that to preserve the views. Or it could be an architect trying to get creative or a bit of both.

I personally don't like the design but do enjoy the view corridors so I'm kind of conflicted about the design. I don't live near it so don't see it often anyway.
